We have a 4 month old silkie chick that started limping on her left foot mon. We took her to vet on wed. They gave her antibiotics, but no answer to what it is. Was told to do exercise with her left leg. Been giving b12 and vit. Is their anything at all we can do for her???
We have separated her also. Tyia

Welcome to BYC. Does she put weight on the leg or keep it up? Was she vaccinated for Mareks disease? Do you have a cockerel or rooster that might have hurt her trying to mate? Can you see any swelling or green bruising through the feathers anywhere on her leg or foot? Make sure that your vitamins include B2 riboflavin. B complex tablets 1/4 tablet daily would supply all B’s.

She will stand on it, so she doesn't hold it up, but she will not walk forward. She scoots backwards.
She is not vaccinated. We also only have 11 chickens total. No new ones.
She was with a rooster, but we separated when when started limping.
I do not see anything unusually. I will get the b2 asap..
