Also look up the laws for your city/county. Sad to say not all law enforcement officers know the laws. I actually called 2 times and spoke to an officer in person. 2 gave me the exact same answer to my question, 1 honestly admitted to not knowing.

Also, some people on different threads have reported officers lying about the laws. So what is printed on paper is the final word on what law applies to you in that situation.
