Yep she surprised me when she was broody clucking around with my other broody hen, I didn't expect it from her.

Yeah! She's really cute by the way!

I finally put a window with a screen in my coop and sold 3 seramas chicks that were hatched 6-1 my broody hatched them and is on a nest again this time shes sitting on my blind rir three eggs and a blue egg and either my blue wyandotte egg or slw mixes egg both are bred to a blrw same with the rir the blue egg is a friends egg

Saturday morning I left for a short overnight trip & though I'm usually ok leaving my girls, this time my hubby was gone, too. So when I finally got home, I didn't even unpack or change clothes! It was into my chicken chores shoes & straight to the (newly arrived supply of) freeze dried mealworms. I let the girls out, cleaned up their yard, scooped their coop, changed their water, picked up the eggs and just absorbed all things chicken!!

I even stayed past lights out to dole out pets and tuck them in. There's just nothing like having chickens. It just warms my heart & feeds my soul.
