So I have 6 chicken's all raised by me and all are healthy. They lay eggs every day and have always gotten along well. Last week, I noticed the sound of a chicken being attacked. I go check...nothing all is well. I count chicken's ones missing. I open coop door and there she( little Red) is...on the highest rung of the chicken ladder. I thought it was strange, but moved on with my day. Later on that day, I go check on that strange behavior and she's still up there. Weird...I asked my husband to help me look her over and we didn't notice anything, except she was missing feathers and she's smaller then the other chickens. But as we were looking her over one of the other chickens came running at her with hateful thoughts on her mind. (If ya know what i mean) Since then, I've removed her from the situation. Little Red's living in the garage in a huge dog kennel. I've been taking little Red outside everyday with the other chickens with supervised" play dates". The play dates we're actually going well, she was standing her ground, even stole a worn from one of the other girls an pecked another one in the eye! Until today, one of the 5 other chickens ran up to her and ripped out a feather! Then little Red seemed super timid and very scared. I ended the playdate early because they picked up on her fear and ALL started to gang up on her. Has anyone else had all the flock of chickens raised together turn on one chicken? She's healthy and laying eggs in the garage. She eats, poops and is healing well from them pecking at her feathers and comb. I need advise on reintroducing one chicken back into her flock. Any advise is very welcome. I had someone suggest a chicken phycologist. Not very helpful but kinda funny. But serious thoughts are definitely welcome. Thanks in advance!!

In this approach, you put Little Red in the pen with the rest of the flock but have a divider between them....that way they can see Little Red but can't peck or chase her
After a week or two, introduce her to the flock again, under supervision/watching to make sure the others won't harm her again.
Sometimes it works, sometimes, not so much.
