Have a chicken that is hiding in the corner. I worry about her overheating or not eating/drinking. Every time I take her out of the corner the rooster jumps on her. She seems traumatized by him...young birds, haven't started laying yet. Any advice?

Separate the rooster from the pullets until they and he mature.

Thanks. Everyone else seems to be getting along fine. Maybe I'll just separate her for a while.

If you separate her, the other pullets will attack on reintroduction. It's just how chicken society/the pecking order works. When you have aggression problems, it is generally better to remove the aggressor.

Thanks to everyone for the welcomes and advice. Never thought I liked chickens until I started helping out my neighbor. Just after she ordered her chicks she was thrown from her horse and has had a long recovery. So, I have raised them since they were just days old and am hooked. Most of what I have learned has been from BYC. :)
