Chicken Co op for the urban farmer $3500

I imagine the buyers of these two totally ridiculous (IMHO) coops will be uttering more four-letter words than "poop" when the reality of keeping chickens in such small spaces sets in -- jeez!

I usually applaud any effort by coop designers to reach the masses AND the elite so that more people will take up the hobby, but it looks like no follow-up with actual chickens in residence was attempted.

Whoever buys something like that won't be worrying about the chickens because they will be paying someone else taking care of them.

Where are the chickens supposed to eat and drink? Is there a little Starbucks around the corner?

And that London egg...normally I pooh-pooh folks who panic about cedar, and I swear by cedar shavings, but even I don't shut a chicken up in a tiny windowless solid cedar egg-thingy. Can't they suffocate a chicken for cheaper than that?

Oh, here's the website for the "nogg": http://www.nogg.co/

Four
chickens, one vent on top. Costs GBP 1,950. That doesn't include a run! It was designed by a furniture designer

There is nothing on the site about actual customers with actual chickens.

Lets make practical coops for the every day person. Something light, yet functional. BYC approved coops.( some money for byc website as well)

I know I dont have 3000.00+ to shell out for an open box.
