chicken comb

ok so i rescued these 3 hens from a guy who could never feed them anf they are 8 months old but there combs are really small (im guessing from lack of food) is there anything i can do to get there combs to grow faster

Not all chickens have big combs. What breed are they? Can you post pictures of them?

they are rhode island reds

That isn't a small comb. They look fine, don't worry about it. I also think she could lay pretty soon.

It's fine. Some chickens have big combs, others have small ones. No cause for concern.

They look fine.....doesn't look like they never got fed.
Could be a mix of some sort thus the smaller combs.
RIR have yellow legs I think.

yea they were bones when i got them i 3x fed them to get them better. these have yellow and white legs. i read white legs means good layer not sure if true tho
