They are fine. Hormone levels are high now that they are laying and combs are enlarged. When they go into a molt, combs will lighten in color and may very well shrink.

My olive egger pullets are doing the same thing. Yesterday they were floppy and pale and today they are bright red and standing straight up. It's been supper cold, so I was worried about frost bite. I'm glad to know it is normal.
Yep, They look healthy! Like some other people said, they do flop sometiems.Thank you, I am truly hoping they are OK. I love them so much! They seem super happy and active. Eating from my hand this morning.![]()
