Chicken composting is using chicken to make compost, it's a rapid way to get compost and cut the feeding bill in half.

no - it is not rapid unless you help them to turn it with a machine or pitch fork.
not in half unless you have tons of compost for few chickens or don't care about their laying productivity.

very - gives them exercise and access to natural food (veggies and worms)
