Chicken Contemplation

Greetings all! My name is Kevin and I'm brand-spankin'-new to BYC. My wife and I live near Brentwood Arkansas on 8 acres of land and just recently began to discuss the raising of chickens on the road to a more self-sustaining lifestyle. BYC was the first website I came upon and my brief overview told me this was probably the place to be for information on how to get started. I'll keep this post brief but I look forward to perusing its pages in hopes that we will be truly inspired to take the plunge. I look forward to getting acquainted and am confident that this is the place to bring my questions and concerns.
