Hi, my plans were taken pretty much directly from the Woods book, improvising a bit for my pop door location and window sizing. The best I have is the images of my build. Sorry. The one thing that was a bit sketchy was that the book does not really show much of a header for under the upper windows to make sure you have enough support in that open area.

I have to agree that your coop is gorgeous, beautiful garden too!

Thanks everyone for your helpful advice! Backyard Chickens in an incredible resource. I bought the Dr. Woods book today. I started reading it only to find out that he was a professor at Cornell University as part of the Ag science department. This is practically my back yard.

I met with some of my students today to tell them about the chicken coop design and where the designs came from. They are super excited and ready to start building. I think we will start construction next week once the drawings and bill of materials are completed "Design first- build later," is the law in my classroom.
