Chicken coop directly over compost bin?

This is similar to my idea but I wil have the nesting boxes then the roosts then the door to the run. I wanted the chicken wire under the roosts. Then under the roost part is a compost pile. Screened off but accessible to turn but not to the chickens. They get in my other compost pile. I was thinking to add straw/hay, used coffee and tea hrounds, grass etc. I have an idea to use hay/straw bales around the edges to help prevent air blowing in during winter. All screened/framed in but removable/openable 'door' to shovel out periodically.

I just picked up a coop with a slide out bottom. Pull out the board, and all the plop falls down. "

That is exactly what I am going to do. I love the idea of having the coop over the compost. I found some old kitchen cupboards I will use for my coop. Of course we need to clad it and add a roof but they have those wooden drawers that slide in and out, which will create a sliding floor. Everything will fall onto the compost heap when I clean it out. My heap is big enough to put the droppings on the backside, so the chickens wont be scratching in their own manure too much. I also have a 'backup' compost heap in case I have too much manure. with 4 hens, I think I will be fine. Hoping the compost will generate some heat for them for Winter, though I plan on doing deep bedding in Winter anyway, having a huge hot compost mound under the coop, in the chicken yard, surrounded by privacy fence has got to help keep them warm.

This summer I want to build a chicken coop suspended (on legs) directly over a compost pile. I was thinking of making the floor chicken wire or something, so there droppings will fall directly underneath, which will be the compost pile (which I'm also starting this year). This is my first time having chickens and my mom is only letting me have two. I live in Ontario and we have VERY cold winters so I will be bringing them to my uncle's larger scale coop in quebec during the winter, as he is much better equipped than I am haha. I was wondering if you guys saw any faults in this or if any of you have done it before?? I am open to any tips and tricks on owning chickens and any advice you could possibly have for me. In the future I would LIKE to keep them in the winter and have more then two but that is the current status soo it is what it is. Also this is my first post on here so bare with me hah.
Thank you so much in advance I really appreciate any help!
