Thanks! I readjusted the hinge placement and it fixed the problem. Thanks for the tip - I would have never thought of that.

Wouldn't have noticed without your close up pics.
..and I should have said "too low" rather than "too high".

Someone screwed up(too high) at the factory.

It still may leak there.
Many cover that gap with a piece of rubber(EDPM pond/roofing).

Or inner rubber tubing from an old bike tire. Sliced in half lengthwise and siliconed to the top. That’s what I used in my first coop build.

Yep, could work if you can get a piece long and flat enough.
