There’s a ton of plans online as well as good ideas and info on here.

But there’s really no “one size fits all” plan or design for a coop.

First you need to consider how big the coop should be. The general rule of thumb is about 4-6sq ft per bird of coop space. The bigger breeds need more room obviously. Then about a foot of roost space per bird. And the more room they have the better off they’ll be.

You’ll need adequate ventilation, a pop door and/or a human sized door if it will be big enough.

But having a better idea of your flock size first will help you determine how to design and build it.
And as the previous poster mentioned. Read through the articles on here and do some research to figure out what you can build given you’re budget, materials, flock size, etc. good luck
