Chicken coop size

I bought 3 chicks
1 month later I bought 2 more chicks
1 month later I bought 2 more
At 6 months all the chickens are free ranging together
We have 2 coops , 1 small coop which the 2 youngest sleep in and a coop we built 12x4 ft with 3 nest boxes and 3 roost bars according to the plans , the coop should hold 8 chickens .” We would like to put all 7 the chickens in the one large coop . I am wondering if the youngest chick would be bullied. Is it a good idea to put the 7 in together as they free range during the day?

There should be plenty of space for all of them, there will be a pecking order 'initiation'.
Do they spend time with each other already?

Do they all get along during the day? They have been together long enough that they should be able to get along in one coop at night too
If you are worried about the 2 youngest, you could try moving them in after dark. We found that moving chickens to a new coop meant that we had to manually place them in the coop for several days to a couple of weeks anyway.

Generally, I think the young ones will follow the older ones into the coop. They will want to be together, even if the older ones are a bit crabby about it.
