Posting pictures of the chicken coop/run my husband is building me because I'm super happy with how it's coming along. We just have to build and install nesting boxes, siding and stain all the wood and we're done.

Yes, and the windows are open as long as it's not raining.

He does not. We didn't follow any plans. He's a carpenter and just winged it.

I decided to go with the sand method. I might switch to pine shavings for the winter so it's warmerl.

Might want to put a poop board under the roosts and put the sand in there.

Thanks for the feedback. The poop board is one of the things we're doing this coming weekend. I'm in kansas city.
