Well i need to build a new chicken coop and it has to be a really heavy duty because on my last coop my pup has managed to dig her way in under the 1ft buried chicken wire and was reinforced on the inside with wood beams, and has managed to munch on another chickens (this is the 3rd one so far)

So does anyone have any good idea for a heavy duty coop?

I thought that when we were burrying hardware cloth that we would have to dog the WHOLE run out and lay down hardware cloth, so you could try that, but it would be really expensive. Good Luck!

Install an electric fence about 2 to 3 inches above ground about 6 inches away from your run.I have done this to my run . I havent had 1 problem, Plus I have an alaskan malamute that it only took one time when he hit the fence i heard a yelp and now he wont even look at the coop or run, and I didn't even bury the fence.where I live there are a lot of preditors and I have a local coon, badgers, fox and cyotes. and not one invader yet.
