Chicken crazy in Michigan

Hello from another Michigander (Michigoose, Michihen?)!

You said you aren't here to sell anything, but I am curious what you will/do sell. I'm in the greater Grand Rapids area, so not close. There are a lot of other Michigan posters here too.

I admit, I had to Google Ortonville, as I had never heard of it, but I'm originally from Eastport, and few people know of it either. :)

This is one of the best places to learn about chickens. If you have a question, someone will know the answer. Welcome!
First off, Thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes. Seems like a great group of people here.

To answer your question Sally, I focus on selling high quality, Non-GMO, organic, soy free feed and other natural products. I believe if you want to get healthy, high quality eggs out, you should put healthy, high quality feed in and do whatever you can to avoid chemicals. I've learned a lot about our food supply since my wife was diagnosed with Celiac about 8 years ago. When it comes to feed, you can find organic at TSC or your local feed store, but every time I looked at the labels they had soy. It's been well documented that soy is not good for males. I found New Country Organics to be the best out there in my opinion, and that's what I sell. If you go to their web site, they show that there is one person in the Grand Rapids area who sells it. If you are interested and they are not able to help you out, just drop me a message and I'll do whatever I can to help you out.
