Chicken crumbles for backyard birds?

Are crumbles ok in a pinch to feed wild birds?

They seem to like it alot (i have fed them it these last couple of days) but was just wondering...

THey have never asked my chicken and ducks, those birds just help themselfs around here. If they eat it why no. The birdies in my yard usually clean up whats left

i best not do crumbles for the byard birds 24x7 but it would be WAY cheaper (or cheeper lol) if i did

I have so many wild birds now in my back yard because of the chicken feed I put next to the run it's ridiculous. It worries me if the bird flu ever makes the jump to wild birds in America. I wish I could just feed in the coop... perhaps I should make some wood feeders up against the south wall, it might insulate the coop "a little" from the harsh summer heat.
