Chicken death

I had a male chicken. He was 1 year old today. But a very sad thing happened. I had him in the house in the afternoon. He ate and drank in the morning. He was a little quite in the afternoon. At 3:15 I placed a no crow collar on him. He was roaming outside my room. After a little while i heard a sound like he is struggling. I quickly went out he was lying on the floor and was shaking. I quickly removed the collar he was a little purplish. He opened little eyes but never got up from the ground. Hisface turned to normal red color again but his eyes were little open. My sister gave him water in its beak. He drank it. But slowly his eyes closed tightly and he didnot breath anymore. I dont what happened. I just lost my dear child. Was it because of the collar or was it anything else???? Can it be a heart attack??? It never happened before with a collar. Can some one pls tell ne ehat happened?? Did i kill him????

He always wore that collar. Was wearing it for 15 mins when this happened. I dont know i just feel very very bad knowing that i kiiled him

I’m so sorry, I know how it feels to lose one so suddenly. I loved my rooster, even though people thought he was mean. You didn’t do anything wrong.

Sorry for your loss. Apparently they can hide the sypmtoms well if anything is wrong with them
