My Hens diary, by my DH..lol

1. Wake up hen peck the hen next to me
2. Preen my feathers and hope that I don’t start molting
3. Jump off the roost and grab any tidbits on the floor that the squirrel didn’t get
4. Hope my chicken moma gets up early to let me out of the coop if she doesn’t do more hen pecking
5. My chicken moma opens up the coop door, first one out gets hand outs from chicken moma, last one out gets hen pecked
6. If your in the process of laying an egg or have the urge, drop it on the spot
7. Circle the yard in the shadows and scratch for food after we gobble up all the handouts. . .poop
8. After the gullet is full find a dirt pile and take a dirt bath
9. Preen the feathers again. . . poop
10. Hen peck any hen that joins in on the dirt bath
11. Circle back around and find a safe place to roost. . . poop
12. Repeat 2-11 for the rest of the day
13. One by one file back into the coop before it gets dark
14. Jump up on the roost and hen peck the hen next to me on each side. . . poop
15. Hope my chicken moma closes the coop door so the local raccoon doesn’t cause a hen house fiasco.
