Chicken Dictionary for Dummies?

It has taken me quite awhile to figure them out! That is why I have a running list handy. New one keep cropping up and until I learn them I need to have them written down.

I really apperciate the abbrevation translations (oohh that was a mouth full) some of them I could figure out and others just escaped my chicken sized head.

I call leghorns Leggys...but I don't know if that counts
Maybe we could define Sizzles, frazzels, and all those things... I know they are a frizzle mix and something else.
GLW=Gold Laced Wyandotte
LB=Light Brahma

I suggest also for the dictionary to put a medicine cabinet type thing on there.

I use 'sp?' to mean 'spelling?' (when I don't know if I've spelled something right).
So depending on where you saw your 'sp' could that be it?

It took me forever to figure these out! (i didn't figure them out, I just looked on the online acronym dictionary! )

NHR on this forum means New Hampshire Red, on another forum it means Not Horse Related, lol, (laugh out loud)
