Chicken Dictionary for Dummies?

Quote:
more than 3

OK, thanks. It doesn't have another implied meaning, perhaps bawdy meaning or something like that?

if it does I don't know about it

Sorry to be this way, but "<3" is stating that something is less than 3

greater than = ">"

less than = "<"

the way to remember is that that the point of the symbol is always towards the lesser end of the deal OR that the open ends of the symbol always open to the greater (or larger) quantity of what is being compared.

So, for example: 3< 10 three is less than 10

or 10 > 3 10 is greater than 3.

We will now return you to the regular program.

I know this is an old thread I'm re-opening, but I was looking for a particular abbreviation and happened across this post. I was taught WAY back in grade school to draw the < or > sign like an alligator with teeth in the opening and an eye at the point. It's name was Alfie the Alligator and "Alfie eats the big one!" I still remember this and use it every time I have to read or write something with one of those signs...

And it is absolutely a heart!

So i can say: I <3 my -:)> s.
LOL
Mudhen I know you were keeping track of these, but I would love to reopen this thread for all the newbies (like me!

) and maybe talk about the descriptions/definitions of coloring!!
E.G. Splash, Partridge, Laced?... etc.
Just and idea... I was wondering what made a blue something different from a splash something, and what made a frizzle different from a sizzle and so on and so forth.
thanks
