When would you add kale or other greens? My chicks are at best 2 to 3 weeks old.

It won't hurt to give it to them earlier as they will get nutrition from it but as I said it's generally give as a source of pigment for the egg yolks...

The thing to remember with most greens is that the birds need to have sufficient grit when being feed them or else you can have crop issues...

Ok, I have a couple questions. 1) how can you tell if the chicks are feeling stressed? And I have noticed my chicks poop is watery. Is that a sign of something wrong or is that normal?

I agree, best to start a new thread, but for basics, if the chicks are chirping all the time, acting lethargic, huddled in a corner and never walking around they are likely stressed... Watery poop is fine, their digestive track is not fully functional but as long as stuff is being passed and they are eating and drinking they should be fine at that age, just stick to a diet of chick starter and the poop should become more consistent with time... Also note that any 'treats' you offer will change the poop consistency and color... What you should be on the lookout for is blood in the poop that would indicated a cocci breakout...
