chicken diseases???

I plan on getting chickens this spring and im not sure whether or not to vaccinate them? I plan on ordering them from murray mcmurrays chicken hatchery. also there has never been any chickens on our property, is there a need for vaccines for mareks disease and new castle and such chicken diseases?????

If I remember correctly with Mareks, if you get it, you can't have birds on your property again for at least a year. I think New Castle is less common in the U.S. That being said, I would myself probably vaccinate against Mareks.... I'm just saying this off the top of my head.... that's how I would make my decision... look up the disease... see how common it is where and what the consequences are... then decide.
