chicken door

Hello everyone,
I'm going to install a chicken door in my coop. They are currently using the people door to get in and out. The coop is off the ground a couple of feet so there is a ramp to the door and it gets covered with poop and I'm tired if of walking in it. How big do you think I should make the door? Also, what do you think about putting it under the roosts, it is a possible place. Thanks, Wally

Mine is about the same size as thebifman's. Here's mine:

My chicken's roost goes around the top of the house and the chicken door is directly under one of the roost.
