Chicken down 🤷🏼

This morning I found one of my chickens laying down under the coop. She is alive, but she is obviously not well. She would not even act like she was skittish around me, which is normally her mannerism. She can only stand on one foot, the other foot is rather constricted and lifeless. Anyone have any ideas?

I also just picked her up and what looks like “water” came trickling out of her hind end . Clear liquid that looks just like water. I am baffled

I have had a chicken with ascites before … is lameness is one limb a symptom?

Sorry about your hen. When was the last time she laid an egg? Sometimes clear liquid from the back end is indicative of an egg needing to be laid, or perhaps a broken one? A stuck egg can also press on a nerve just right and cause paralysis or a weakness in one limb.

How is her crop?
