Chicken dreamer

I've wanted to have chickens for so long it seemed like a dream. But I have a great hubby who is letting my dream come true. I say letting because he is not at all excited about feeding, cleaning, and general coop maintainence. But is willing to help. I am in the process of building the coop and run, had to drop two rotten trees first. Now it will go up fast. Hoping to have my girls by summer.

I'm thankful for this website and all the great help and hints. I look forward to getting to know everyone here.
