That usually indicates the color of egg so the hen could lay a white egg. Or brown. But with EE their ear lobes are greenish blue

I was not talking about the color of the ear. I was talking about the white that looks like it's growing on the red ear.

The close up one you posted is a little blurry.

From the picture it looks part of the earlobe which would be completely normal.

If you are concerned that this may be fungal - then I'd suggest popping a wee dab of antifungal creme on her lobe. And might pay to do a thorough check all over her (and your other chickens) to see if there aren't any other areas of concern that aren't as obviously visible. As with all things fungal (or suspected fungal) you will need to exercise good hygiene to limit the spread.
