Chicken Eating Everything From Floors

We free range our chicken on our roof ..they start pecking everywhere on the walls on the ground pecking small stones of sand picking up cement. ..can't able to understand they like it like grit ..

This is typical chicken behavior. They peck and scratch at everything. You might consider providing a more natural environment for them by providing dust baths, sprouted seeds and various chicken 'toys'. You can grow chicken edible plants in pans or pots and put them out there for the chickens to tear into. If you are so inclined you can purchase a kiddie pool, put several inches of dirt in it, toss in some wild bird seed, and let the chickens play in that.

While chickens are fun to watch, they are not truly a domesticated pet, and owners must be mindful of chicken needs to keep them happy.

Ohh that's a great idea I'll plant some trees we have some apple and plum plants but they never eat them ... I'll now brought some wild bird seed thank u so much for ur reply
