Every morning when we let our chickens out, Betty runs over to random things nearby to pick off and eat paint... Anyone else have this problem?? Should we be concerned??

My chicken never eat paint but they do eat styrofoam if they get to it! I think it's probably not bad if she does it once or twice but every day might cause some problems I guess! I am no expert but practically everything un-natural to eat these days causes cancer so I would try break that habit!

Thats a toughy with her free rangin... She seems to enjoy it, perhaps we just dont eat/hatch her eggs till she quits

Any suggestions on breaking the habit?? Perhaps jolepeno pepper mix paint brushed onto her favorite eating paint??

She'd probably not notice as chickens are not sensitive to capsaicin, which is what causes the heat in chili's. They'll have no problem eating your entire chili pepper crop.
