Chicken egg rough spots?

I am noticing that my hens are laying eggs with lots of small spots, is this a sign of parasites?

They appear as tiny brown spots on the eggs. I tried scraping them off but they do not come off. Are these calcium?

Welcome to BYC! It doesn't sound abnormal. It is probably caused by calcium deposits. Do you have any pictures?
