Glad atleast one hatched though a plushie or sock with a mirror (or three) should help her feel less lonely until you get her some friends.

I got my first chickens from tsc and they had no issues growing up

i guess it really depends on the shipment that particular day.

Get a chick wherever nearby. I don't think anyone carelessly hatches chicks with no concern to have healthy ones. Tractor Supply gets their chicks from a hatchery. Same hatchery supplies other places/stores.
Pick a chic that looks healthy and lively.
I don't know why soo many people seem to have negative views about TSC. I read same about other places as well. You can get a BAD APPLE at any place you shop.
Many problems arise from people bringing home chicks, and not knowing the proper ways to care for them. Then the blame automatically is focused on store of purchase.
EXAMPLE,,,,,,,, pasty butt is common, and not stores fault,, yet many peeps don't know how to handle situation.
Luckily BYC, and you can get answers to help you overcome it.

I just picked up the new chicks, but am scared to introduce them to my baby. I know they shouldn’t have any diseases but I’m worried anyway!

Here’s the little one that hatched! In the end it was unable to hatch itself, after 30 hours of being eternally pipped and I had to do a full assist, but this baby is very lively! It still has a bit of egg goop from the hatch, but otherwise darling. I’m in love!
