kittys' faces. I was thinking about using it as a screen saver like
those aquarium or fireplace things.

Southern28 you a confirming a fear of mine. That RIR is supposed
to be a hen but every day is looking, and acting like a roo.

How old are your chicks? I had a RIR roo (he was killed at 5 weeks old) and he was just the sweetest thing. He's a roo as far as I can see.

Edited to add: If I lived closer I would take him for you if you can't keep him.

Oh wow, is that I live cam???? I love it! I am going to save it and watch everyday to see how they are coming along. I have some right now that same age. I wish I was versed in all this picture cam computer thingie.

If you want a live cam, try http://www.hencam.com The lady that runs it is a children's book author outside of Boston. My kids love to watch the Hen Cam. We, of course, have chickens in the yard - but I guess "computer chickens" are special. LOL

Thanks eggcetra, and it is right here in Massachusetts too! No, purplechicken is not live because I just went to it and it is the same scene plus it is dark here now in New England.
Funny how the kids would rather warch computer chickens instead of their own live ones.....lol

The RIR is 12 weeks. It's a sweet bird and very smart too. I wish you
was closer too. You have a very nice coop for your birdies, big too.
Gonna wait it out and see what happens. Two roos are too much for me.

Southern28 is correct. It's a video cam, not web cam. They are only out when I'm
home so a web cam wouldn't be very good. Plus web cam video quality is poor
in comparison.
