chicken facing off

I notices today that my chickens are getting in each others face. each one trying to make them self tall than the other then start running around chasing each other it only goes on for a few seconds and I am wonder are they working on there pecking order. they are the same age about 4 months .I only have four

I saw a couple of my girls doing that yesterday. They got to hackle-flaring and chest bumping.

Funny thing, it was the smallest, Chipotle the California White, facing off against one of the big, Blue Australorps (I can no longer tell them apart), and Chipotle was the instigator.
