One of my 5 1/2 month old Blue Isbars has just started laying and has laid her 3rd egg in 4 days.
All three weigh exactly the same at 27.7 grams and each getting paler in colour, while my second Isbar of the same age is laying eggs twice this size.

I'm just wondering if her eggs are going to get bigger, why the colour change and can I do anything about it?

Yes the eggs get bigger over time. Maybe about 25% bigger. Not double in size unless you get a rare double yolk egg.

Bigger hens lay bigger eggs in general. Some breeds are known for smaller eggs, like the rumpless Araucana in the Netherlands. And there are always individual differences even within the same family. .

Compare the weight of your two girls and if you haven't done so recently, deworm thoroughly.
Thanks, I will check this out. I have used black walnut a couple of months ago. I'll give them another treatment just to be sure.

Only deworm if there is a worm problem. The medicine for deworming is not good for their health/immune system if nothing is wrong in the first place.

Hens coop well with some worms. Get it tested if you cant see any before deworming. There are natural supplements that work too if the contamination is low. Like garlic and pumpkin seeds.
