Putting her back with the flock would be your decision. You would need to determine if she is well enough to defend herself since she has been removed for a while. Sometimes a separated chicken is not welcome.

If it's a nice day and she will do fine with your temperatures, then you may want to at least take her for a visit and see how it goes.

She did wonderful outside today, and I was going to put her back on her own for the night but she managed to surprise me by climbing onto the roost on her own and she was very happy to be back outside.

That's great! I'm glad she is doing better and things went fine with taking her back to the flock

Thank you so much for your help! Woodie still walks with a bit of disorientation but she gets around great and the rest of the flocks was very sweet with her, including my rooster

I'm very sorry to hear that she is not doing well

Listen to your Mother and hear out her reasoning. She is there and can help you make the decision whether or not it's worth continuing to give her supportive care or to end her suffering. Sadly, some birds do seem to be recovering, then suddenly have a sharp decline. Whatever decision you make, know that you have done a good job taking care of her and did everything you could for her.

One of our hens (buff orpington) is going through this exact same thing. She's been unbalanced and falling over for a while now, but usually has an appetite until today. Can I ask what your outcome was?
