If you mean eating feathers then first of all, how much protein are you giving them? sometimes they eat feathers because their low on protein. To remedy this, I give my hens a mash a wet and dry cat food every morning until the picking ceases. Also, when I have that sort of problem every day I go outside for an hour or so armed with a water spritzer. If you ever catch one of your hens picking, give em a good solid squirt. These things usually help.

The best anti pic remedy I have found is called Rooster Booster Pic No More Lotion. I accidentally got some in my mouth, it is the worst thing I have ever tasted. I have watched the chicks after I have applied it to one of their buddies. If they pick at it they run off shaking the heads and trying to wipe it off their beaks! It works!

Pinless peepers are the best! I used them on my 3 easter eggers when I introduced a silkie into the flock.
