Hello everyone! So, I purchased a white Serama from an experienced breeder at the last Ohio Nationals. I’ve noticed that her feathers aren’t neat or slicked back like they’re supposed to. I was thinking that maybe putting some baby oil on a rag then rubbing her fathers down with it might help, but wanted to make sure it wouldn’t harm the feathers. I’m of course open to suggestions. Thank you ! :)

Baby oil is not a good idea, IMO.

How old is bird?
Were her feathers OK when you bought her......and how long have you had her?
Has she molted since you got her?
Pics would help immensely here.

I bought her when she was 6 months old and now she’s 11 months old. Thank you for the tip. She has not molted since I got her. I
