Concerning bumps on chickens neck

Hello, I wanted to see if anyone on her knows what these strange bumps on my chicken are.
I went outside today to go check on her as usual and when I picked her up I noticed these weird large bumps on her neck and I’m really concerned. I’ve never seen these on any of my chickens before and I’m so confused on what they are. If someone could please help me figure out what these are and if they’re harmful I would be so appreciative

Are they warm to the touch? If you touch one is the texture hard or squishy?

If they just suddenly appeared, insect bites or stings could be a strong possibility. Is she scratching at them at all?

Could it be fowl pox from mosquitoes? What is your general location?

hey everyone I’m back with an update, i’m sorry for not replying to those with questions I wasn’t able to find her actually, after I had posted this I couldn’t find her anywhere because I had left somewhere a little bit after but thankfully she’s okay. Well anyways, the bumps are smaller now and some are even gone, thank God I think it might’ve been some kind of bug like you guys suggested. Just to add in the bumps do feel a little squishy and I’m in Southern California
