Hi everyone! I am pretty new to raising chickens and new to BYC. I am getting close to the end of my second bag of chick starter and I just thought I would see what others prefer to feed the chickens and where they get it.
I have a flock of 13 Rhode Island Reds. They are about 8 weeks old. I live in Belleville, Ontario and as a new chicken raiser I am not super familiar with all the places to get chicken feed. The feed I have bought so far has come from Stirling Feeds and Seeds but if I can get a quality feed closer to home I would. It doesn’t need to be certified organic or anything, I’m just looking for a quality feed to keep my birds strong and healthy!
