Buckeye Nutrition Quality Feed for production animals
Thanks

Check the ingredients label and see if it says you can feed to chickens and if it's for layers or meat birds. Snap a picture of the label ingredients and vitamins and minerals and post. GC

The ingredients are not on the bag and it doesn't offer any info about what animals it's for. It just says production animals

Welcome! Mystery products need to be left in the store, never fed. There should be a label attached to the stitching on the bag, and a date of manufacturing, and a list of animals that it's meant to feed. I've never seen a poultry feed from Buckeye, so have no idea about it, except that 'production animals' is way too vague to mean anything. I feed Purina Flock Raiser, an all-flock feed that's available fresh at my local feed store, with oyster shell on the side for my laying hens. Good food pays off! Mary

I most certainly would not feed something to any of my animals that is, basically, unlabeled. I thought labeling was a law. Who is making that stuff?

Well, maybe it's just me, but I would not feed a feed that is in a bag that does not list the ingredients, and all pertinent information. Don't care how cheap it might be.

Thank you. I ended up emailing the company so we will see what they say.
