Chicken Feed

[Polish Chickens]

Today I finally managed to get the actual chicken feed for my Polish chicks. I've given some of the feed for them to try and only some of my chicks had eaten it all. I'm wondering why the rest of my babies did not eat the feed?

Maybe they find it different and not to their immediate liking. They might get the hang of it when they see the others eating and/or if you don't give them other food options they'll be forced into it (or is that a bit mean?!)

I just gave them their chicken feed but this time none seem interested in eating any of it. What is up? I gave some feed to them yesterday and some of them had eaten their feed and now when I gave their feed to them they were not the slightest bit interested in the feed

In time they'll discover that the feed is what they should be ingesting. I say, let them find out that it's food on their own. You can bring the horse the bucket but you can't make her drink. When they're hungry, they'll eat.
