I'm seeing some of this among my 12 girls, started before laying began. Top girl is settled and now the #2 girl is asserting. I have no rooster and the worst thing that has happened is a little feather pecking and running. It sounds awful, they squawk so loudly, but I'm letting them settle it. It does help to feed in a couple of places so that the less dominant birds can get enough of what they need.

The same thing is expressed on their roost. With three girls I'm sure you have space to allow the less dominant one get her feed. We also put hay bales in the coop and run as landing perches for the roosts and platforms. The added benefit is that when a less dominant bird runs behind a bale the agressive one sometimes loses interest.
