Whilst walking my dogs around a farmers fields today I heard a chicken in the bush, these bushes are thick and unruly and I managed to spot the chicken twice but couldn't find her again, baring in mind we're in the middle of two huge stubble fields and have two dogs so would've spotted her if she'd left the bushes. Looking at what had been dumped over the fence I think she's been chucked out and abandoned

so basically what's the best way to coax/ flush her out so I can catch her? Really don't want this one to get eaten as we've just lost two of our own to Mr fox!

Get a large dog crate or anything like that, turn it sideways so the door opens upward. Tie a rope to the door, drop a good amount of feed in the cage and go a good distance away, pulling the rope so the rope holds the door open. When she goes in let go of the rope.
Or
Get a plastic tub. Get a stick to prop it open. Tie a rope to the stick. Put food under the tub. When she goes under pull the rope.

Just some old fashioned ways of catching animals! Sorry for my crazy chicken catching rant xD
