Chicken friend from finland ❤️🐓

I first got chickens when I was in second grade and asked my parents if we could get chickens. They liked the idea and soon our backyard playhouse was turned into a chicken house! We had a lot of hy-line browns at the start, and after a few years we added silkies and a silkie rooster to the mix. And so on, I can’t even remember how many different feathered friends got to live there over the years. Now I have my own home with a new chicken house in our backyard!

Right now I have four mixed breed younglings, 1 silkie-hy-line mix, and two house chickens: one mixed breed lady and a frizzle bantam kochin.

I decided to join BYC after I saw that so many of my problems could be solved when I dig through this site!
