Hi! We got these chickens from a store that only sells female chicks. We know for a fact one of the Blue Copper Marans is a rooster, but some of the others look like roosters to me as well. They are approximately 16 weeks old. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks!

The only one that really stands out to me is blue copper #3 because I do believe I see long black saddle feathers.

16 weeks is right around the time combs on the pullets will be getting a bit bigger and turning red. Cockerels should be crowing but less dominant boys will crow less if at all when a bossy cockerel is around. Saddle feathers along with combs are what to look at right now.

Thank you for your response. I was really hoping #3 was a pullet, but I am seeing saddle feathers as well. I haven’t heard him crow yet, but he is definitely less dominant than his brother.

Wow beautiful chickens!

I will say that I believe both your sapphire gems are pullets close to laying eggs, not cockerels.

Your Blue Copper Maran #3 looks like a cockerel.

I can't guess on the Wyandotte but I have to say he/she is so good looking.
Thank you so much! I am pretty sure the Wyandotte is a pullet.
