I have 2 ISA browns and one BO. One isa is brown the other is white and brown. Both are hens. IF I pick up the white/brown isa first and put her back in the coop
the brown/white will peck the brown one when it is put in. Happens every time if I do it in this order. Does anyone know why this happens?

We see similar behavior among ours too. I suspect it's because your brown/white hen is the alpha and expects to be acknowledged by you first.

When you (the roo) acknowledge the white/brown hen first you're contradicting the established pecking order which must be corrected by the brown/white hen.
