Chicken giving me treats

Anyone have a pullet/hen give you treats? Or is this a cockerel/rooster specific behavior?

Usually grown roosters will give treats to other hens.

I have one chicken that brings me treats and very obviously lays them in front of me. None of my girls behave this way, and I was pretty sure this specific chicken was a pullet.

Roosters will give food to their hens.
Hens will give food to their chicks.

So I think either gender can do it.

I don't know why either one would bring food to a person, but chickens often do things I don't understand
