Chicken Grit vs Pigeon Grit

Well after looking at the label I sure wouldn't use the pigeon grit as 19-22% calcium is WAY above what a chicken would use. Layer feed is only about 3-4% calcium. Granted they're not going to eat a lot of grit at one sitting, but it's still concerning to me.

Have you asked if your local stores will special order chicken grit for you?

They (Dels) get what's sent to them (from TSC), they'll be having the 5# bags @ $8.49 where as when they did carry the 50# it was $20. Oh well beggars can't be choosey. Amazon again my go to shopping .... 25# for $20.

My thoughts exactly, the other feed store told me "no problem/difference" which I had doubts once reading the "ingredients". Just wanted all your opinion ... Thank you all for confirming my gut feelings.
